Free November has begun in Wilanów. How to pick a day and get tickets for your group

From 2 to 30 November, you can visit the palace and park in Wilanów for free, but you’ll need tickets. Here’s how to pick a day together and keep visit dates and ticket release dates straight.

From 2 to 30 November 2026, Warsaw’s Muzeum Pałacu Króla Jana III w Wilanowie is taking part in “Darmowy Listopad w Rezydencjach Królewskich” (“Free November at the Royal Residences”), with free admission to the palace, park and historic gardens. You’ll need free tickets to enter, and places in the palace are limited.

Today, 2 November, online tickets become available for 9–15 November. If you’re going together, it’s best to agree on who’s coming and which dates work first, then decide who will book.

Pick a day for the palace and a walk

For your group outing, you can choose Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. On these days, the palace is open from 10:00 to 16:00, with last entry at 15:00; it is closed on Tuesdays.

The park and historic gardens are open from 09:00 to 16:00, with last entry at 15:30. If you’d like to combine a look around the interiors with a walk, it’s easiest to choose your palace entry time first, then visit the park before or afterwards.

Match your visit date to the ticket release date

Free palace tickets are released online in stages:

  • For 2–8 November, tickets became available on 26 October.
  • For 9–15 November, tickets become available on 2 November.
  • For 16–22 November, tickets become available on 9 November.
  • For 23–30 November, tickets become available on 16 November.

Choose your visit date around the palace’s opening days. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s best to agree on a day before you start booking.

Decide who will book the tickets

In the individual tickets section, first select the type of visit, then the date and time, followed by the ticket options. The standard booking process lets you select between 1 and 9 individual tickets. You don’t have to create an account, but you will need to fill in the required details.

One person can handle the booking, then forward the tickets to everyone and check the date, time and ticket count. If everyone books separately, agree on the same entry time in advance. Tickets are accepted both as printouts and on screen.

Mates is being developed for future interest-based outings in Warsaw — you can sign up for early access on the website.

If there are more than nine of you

Different rules apply to larger groups: groups of more than nine people can only visit the palace with a museum educator or guide, by prior arrangement. Getting free individual tickets and booking a group visit are separate processes.

To start organising a group visit, contact the ticket office: +48 798 290 977, bilety@muzeum-wilanow.pl. It is open Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00.

What to keep in mind on the day

The museum is at ul. Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16. Agree on a meeting point in advance, separately from your palace entry time.

In strong winds, the museum closes the park for safety reasons. Free tickets are also available at the ticket office from 09:00 on the day of your visit, but numbers are limited.
